Tips on Packing Smart

Packing smart is a mental game.
A lot of people are faced with a lot of stress when it comes to packing for a trip. They frantically try and pack their entire lives in to a suitcase and while trying to anticipate every item they might need to use during their charter bus rental tour around Washington DC or Baltimore MD, which leads to over packing and not surprisingly, more stress!
To help you prevent that, we here at Bus Charter Trips have put together a checklist to help you overcome all that packing anxiety and eliminate any bus charter trip worries.
Clothes:
To pack wisely, pack three tops for every bottom. Pants and skirts can be worn multiple times. Just swap your top and you’ve got a whole new look, and besides forget about looking like a model during the bus charter trip, you're having a vacation not a catwalk. Following this formula, a week-long trip shouldn’t require more than six tops, one pair of pants, one pair of shorts, or for ladies, one dress, and three bras.
Colour:
Stick to a color scheme and keep to it. Use two neutrals for your core basics and add two to three fun shades that coordinate should be all you need. Remember, a dark palette hides stains and easily sails from day to night and wearing something neutral during your trip would be the wisest decision you have ever made for your Washington DC bus charter night out.
Footwear:
No one needs more than three pairs of footwear on any party bus trip. One pair each of sneakers/flats, business shoes, and sandals/thongs is all you need.
Layer:
Ditch pieces with bulky linings think thin. Control temperature with layers and pack tees, tanks, and cashmere cardigans instead thick sweaters or a hefty jacket.
Multi-task:
Yoga pants and board shorts can moonlight as pajamas. Your favorite gym clothes can also double up in place of a pajamas. For instance, a tee shirt or tank top can be paired with a skirt and heels for dinner, capris and sandals for shopping, and shorts and sneakers for a weekend hike. Keeping things simple, honestly speaking, can be the best policy for short bus charter trips like these.
Accent:
Use accent pieces to draw highlight your features or create conversation pieces so people don’t focus on the clothes.
Fabric Choice:
Fabric blends containing nylon, elastane, or polyester beautifully resist wrinkling. Natural fabrics such as wool, Lyocell, modal or cotton mixed with polyester or spandex resist wrinkling better than pure cotton. Anything with texture (crinkled gauze, ruched jersey, seersucker) or a busy print helps camouflage fold marks.
Enjoy your party bus rental trip, win the mental game of packing and pack like a pro for your road trip with Bus Charter Trips and who knows, you might be packing even more bags filled with souvenirs for the return trip.
